Come on an adventure with ‘Our Big Backyard’ (OBBY) and discover nature hotspots to explore around the Little Para River. The activity pack includes:
• A map of the local area identifying three natural spaces to explore: Boardwalk Playspace, Little Para River and Woodfield Reserve.
• A checklist of 40 things to do along the Little Para/in Salisbury that are fun, free and outdoors!
• Four nature adventure sheets with activities and ideas to do at each location including local Kaurna knowledge.
Where can I pick up a free hard copy?
Maps can be picked up from Morella Community Centre and Salisbury Community Hub.
About the Project
OBBY Little Para was initiated in response to Riverdale Primary School’s desire to see students and families connected with nature in their local area. Green Adelaide formed a project team in mid-2022 with key community groups. This activity pack is enriched by strong representation of student perspectives and Kaurna language.
